OBTURATIONS/FILLINGS

This procedure is performed when a tooth decay is located and has to be removed in order to protect the tooth from further damage or when removing old colored fillings for precautional reasons.
In the past, teeth were filled with a mixture—or amalgam—of different metals. Today that is changing as more natural-looking and metal-free dental fillings are becoming the preferred approach.
Dentists are using more tooth-like materials (composite resins and porcelains) that are
both safe and predictable. The most important feature, for many people, is that they look and react more like natural teeth.

COSMETIC IN LAYS-ON LAYS

In-lays and on-lays are indirect restorations, that are applied on an area of an old or broken large filling. On lays are applied over the cusps tips and within the grooves and the in-lays only within the grooves.Usually they are being prefered instead of fillings, cause of their durability, longevity and aesthetics.

ROOT CANAL TREATMENT

When damage to a pulp is diagnosed,it then must be removed, cleaned and filled up.With this procedure a tooth’s functionality can be preserved for many years instead of having to be pulled out as was the usual method in the past.

TOOTH EXTRACTIONS

When the damage of a tooth is irreversible

SCREW POSTS

When the damage of the coronary part of a tooth is so widespread, after the root canal treatment,so it can not be restored ,a screw post must be placed. This is placed inside the tooth’s treated root, and filling material is applied above it..
